We have all now seen a Kodiak bear.  Finley was so angry that Eddie and I saw a bear on Friday morning I had to take Finley 'bear hunting' on Friday evening and luckily that big guy was out again!!!  Finley was so excited.  He kept trying to run down to the stream bank.  I told him that bears can move very fast.  He saw it cross the river and decided against the idea.  He can't wait to share with his class on Monday.  He was the only kid in his class that hadn't seen a Kodiak bear!!!  Good thing we saw one because they will start denning about mid Oct. and we will be in the lower 48!!!
