A baby elk...

We were on Eddie's Jr. Ranger hike and saw the baby hiding while she was alone. We told the boys the mom was out 'shopping' for food for the baby. We did actually learn that if the baby is hiding; the mom is either scaring off danger or she is hunting herself.
